Studio J

Hi I wanted to share a little find.... yep I found Studio J last night and while I have had the Stampin UP! version on my computer for over 4 years I opened it once and shut it and thought this in NOT for me!!

Last night I called Cherri and said I am so tired of all this Studio J stuff WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL!!!

So I got on my Studio J membership through Close to my Heart... yep I bought it in March and never opened it.

I am addicted to scrapbook paper!!!

I couldn't possibly be a digital scrapbooker....
 well I AM WRONG!!!

I stayed up all night well that is normal for me.....usually well last night I was exhausted by 10 PM (i was ready for bed!)

so I thought I wonder if all those pictures loaded from earlier in the day??
Oh I am addicted to my digital Cannon Rebel too  LOL!!

SO I loaded like 150 pictures for a layout! You don't know which one you'll need right?  HA!!!

SO anyways I absolutely LOVE it!
Studio J has all the paper patterns some new some old some exclusive!!
I love the layout choices you just drop your pictures in the layout and no extra work is really needed.  SUPER EASY!!

After I figure out how to share them with you I will :)
My layouts are plain with color and pictures because when I get them home I will bling them out with real accessories!

I love all the choices super fun but I want add my special touch to it too!
Just wanted to share my new joy!!

Although I am a paper hoarder this will be a fun way to do layouts once in awhile I am not giving up my mono adhesive yet lol!!

Have a super week it's almost friday and if you haven't tried Studio J I do recommend it although I understand not wanting to it took me a lot of years to finally try it!

Technique Blog Hop

Thank you so much for stopping by you should have come here from Kelly's blog. My name is Tawnya Payton and I live in Allen Texas with my husband and sweet daughter and 2 adorable puppies!!  I am posting a card I made tonight with Close to my Heart products.   This card features All Hallows Eve stamp set by Close to my Heart.  My technique is  glossy dimensions on page 23 of the new Close to my Heart catalog.  I used Daisy White re-inker and liquid glass mixed together on the back of the saying dimensional and then I stamped on it "All Hallows Eve"in black Close to my Heart ink.  I love the effect it gave the dimensional and stamping over the top of the image gave it a different look as well as texture.  I also pop dotted it up to feature this technique. I used a new product from Close to my Heart glitz silver glitter on the spider for a sparkle effect I hope you all enjoy it now hop on over to Neely's blog next   :)

Here is the order of the blog hop below

Kids and Scrapbooking

I so wished I would have scrap booked more when I was younger so I could catch the feeling of that age.  The one thing I did do when I was young was keep a journal of everything I could write down to show my feelings so I would not forget when I had my own children.  I have one precious daughter I love her very much she does not scrapbook although she does write a lot so maybe one day she will scrapbook she just doesn't right now.  Her friends like to scrapbook so as a gift to them I open my house up to them to do school projects and anything else they might need.  I found out tonight from her best friend that she tells them all my mom has a cricut come over and we will do our projects :) at least she is aware of what it all is right lol!!  I told her best friend that I would teach her to scrapbook and her younger sisters.  I haven't done this before but I have everything they need so I would love to do this for them once a month.  So tonight I had them over and since we all just got back home from the San Diego Zoo I thought we should definitely do a ZOO page  :)  Here is what we did below!

Slowly Unpacking!

This layout was made by Melissa Robinson. She sweetly made these for our team.  I added the pictures.

I got home early weds morning Texas time!!
12:00 AM but I am still on Pacific Standard time which makes it hard when you are trying to un pack & watch a sweet little baby in the morning! I had to then organize a open house for Friday night but I did it!!  My sweet husband helped with the party snacks on Friday night :) I sent him for cheese and 2 bottles of wine.  He met up with the cheese connoisseur at market street so we ended up with some fabulous blueberry cheddar
and some apricot something and brie.
The week has caught up with me but everything went smoothly now I am ready to start using my cricut with my new Art philosophy cartridge and make some more Roxie layouts!  My open house was so FUN!!
And I loved sharing all the new products with my friends!  Hope everyone has a great week and I am posting some of my layouts from convention!
